Bekina BeSealed swellable strips are extremely well-suited to sealing tunnel segments. Our swellable strips are integrated into the EPDM profiles that connect the tunnel segments. In the event of water seepage into the concrete of the tunnel, these swellable strips ensure a quick seal, preventing any chance of leakage. Our products can also be used for tunnels in areas with extremely high salt content (up to 10%). We have specifically developed superswell variants for this purpose.
